My CD-ROM is not recognized!
Questions: When I start the Feurio!®
CD-Manager, no CD-ROM is recognized or only writers/ CD-ROMs connected to the
SCSI-BUS are recognized but not the CD-ROM(s) connected to the IDE-Bus.
Is Feurio!® not capable of working with IDE devices?
Answer: Of course Feurio!® works
with IDE-CD-ROMs. Condition for access to IDE devices is that an up-to-date ASPI
driver is installed. The ASPI
drivers installed with Windows 95/98 unfortunately sometimes
have problems accessing IDE devices: Install a new ASPI
driver (see: "ASPI
driver").
In Windows NT you can also use the access mode "DeviceI Control" , using this
mode all drives recognized by Windows can be accessed.
