Feurio Questions & Answers - Feurio! CD-Writer
general questions:
Using rewritable CDs (CD-RW)?
Question: Is it possible to use rewritable CDs?
Answer: Yes. Rewritable CDs can be used just the same as normal CD-Rs if the
CD-Writer supports writing rewritable CDs.
In the menu "Extras" of the Feurio!® CD-Writer, there is an additional entry
"Delete CD-RW", this can be used to delete a rewritable CD.
Note: Most CD players as well as "older" CD-ROMs can not read rewritable CDs!
Only some newer CD players are capable of this.
So if you do not own a special audio CD player suitable for CD-RWs, then you
will NOT be able to play the burned CD-RWs in your Audio CD-Player, but ONLY
on your CD-ROM!
Using so-called "AUDIO-CRWs" will NOT change this either! The ONLY difference
between them and normal CD-RWs is the GEMA tax.
