When is the next version of Feurio going to be
available?
Question: I can't wait for the next version of Feurio to appear. When can
I expect it?
Answer:
(Caution - ironic) As soon as it is finished!
Sorry, but we do NOT give fixed dates for the release of updates!
In contrast to many other vendors, we do not allow ourselves to be pressured
for a deadline (e.g. exactly on new version every month). Feurio!®
is subject to continuous development. When we are of the opinion that we have
collected enough new functions or error corrections for a new version, we release
our new version to a group of beta testers and not until we -and in particular
our beta testers - are satisfied with the new version and no major errors can
be found any more do we release the new version!
As errors often do not appear until used in connection with certain hardware,
it can take quite some time until the beta test cycle has run its course.
For us the most important thing really is to deliver Feurio!®
with as few errors as possible - we do not supply a new version which may have
some interesting new functions but has not been tested for long enough to give
us the opportunity to find at least the majority of errors - however practice
has shown that despite exhaustive beta testing a few errors always remain undetected.
As "a rule of thumb" you can assume that a new version of Feurio will normally
appear every 2-3 months - however this can sometimes take a little less or a
little more time!
Note: Shortly before a version is published, there is sometimes a beta version
available for public beta testing on the Feurio! Homepage (http://www.feurio.de)
