Answer: There is not a general answer
to this, it depends on the system.
Basically the following applies: The larger the buffer is set, the more stable
the CD burner runs but the system's performance decreases as of course there
is then less memory available for other applications.
In this instance I can only suggest: TRY IT OUT! Just run one or several simulation
runs and look how the buffer empties. If the buffer gets too empty or if there
is even a Buffer-Underrun,
increase the size of the buffer.
Generally of course the following applies: The faster the writer, the more buffer
you should set.
