STABLE BURNING UNDER WINDOWS 95/98:
Using special arrangements I finally managed to prevent memory from being "swapped"
to harddisk even if using Windows 95/98. For this reason the buffer memory of
Feurio! is now protected against swapping.
Under Windows 95/98 this means that the Feurio! CD-Writer is running much more
stable. Its not that easy any more to cause a "Buffer underrun" when starting
some big application.
Of course it is STILL possible to cause a "Buffer underrun" as Windows 95/98
simply isnt a "real time multitasking" OS, in opposite to Windows NT where it
is no problem to protect the writing process against heavy system load.
This means: While burning, do NOT torture your system with too difficult tasks.
- Copying of data CDs:
Besides the main field of application (the production of audio CDs) the "Professional
version" of Feurio! is getting more and more interest; meanwhile this version
is used by some companies for producing limited-lot productions.
To enable the creating of limited-lot productions without first generating Nero
images, Ive implemented the function to copy "simple" data CDs (mode 1, mode
2, mixed mode) in Feurio! Professional.
At the moment it is only possible to copy data CDs "on-the-fly", copying versus
image file will be inserted later.
For details see "Copying of data CDs".
Again: The "normal" Feurio! version is and will stay a mere audio program. Creating
and copying data CDs is reserved to the professional version!
If there is need, it may be possible to offer a professional version for only
1 writer, which would be priced between the standard and the professional version
for 2 writers.
- Reading of ATIP information implemented:
Some recordables (especially CD-RWs) contain information about the min. and
max. possible recording speed. These information are now read out and shown.
- CD-Text improved:
Ive inserted the additional item "CD-Text" in the main menu of the Feurio! CD-Writer.
With this menu it is possible to change some special options, e.g. convert text
to capitals or automatically burn the artist in the title array.

Burning of data tracks with TEAC CDR 50/55:
The burning of data tracks with TEAC CDR50/55 was implemented.
Burning of data tracks with SONY CDU 920, 924, 948:
The burning of data tracks with SONY CDU 920, 924, 948 was implemented.
Automatic shutdown already selectable while reading the image:
The automatic shutdown of the computer after burning can now be activated while
still reading the layout.
- Corrected bugs:
Problems with background noise fixed:
With certain buffer settings it could happen that periodic background noise was
inserted in the copy. -> Fixed.
Problems with shifted track indices fixed:
With certain buffer settings it could happen, that the track indices were slightly
shifted when burning a CD. -> Fixed.
Ejecting the CD & Automatic shutdown:
If the option "Automatic shutdown" was activated, the recordable wasnt ejected
after burning. -> Fixed.
Speedtest fixed:
Under certain circumstances the speed test didnt determine realistic data. ->
Fixed.
Device stayed locked after burning:
Unfortunately this bug, already mentioned in version 1.19, wasnt corrected completely.
Under circumstances the device stayed locked. -> Should now be fixed.
